Forgive me for being naive for questioning this. But why is there 2 versions? One for Flash and ne for Director?

You'll notice FUSELight developed in java, linux, and for perl. The version that was mentioned in the above posts. Is to help flash clients communicate with the fuselight frame-work.

Fun, fun fun...

So, basically that is a yes. However, using a shockwave client. All four works smoothly.

In director simply create a flash object using:
socket = newObject("xmlSocket").connect("localhost", port)

Of course there is more to it. However, I have yet fully tested this. As I have yet found a purpose.

Seeing as Johnathan isn't re-writing the server anymore, you can catch up with the status of the development here.

Thanks,

Sorry for bumping this very old post but I have a question that maybe someone can help me with.

I am too to all of this, MMOCC server and client stuff and I downloaded FuseLight. However, I have no clue on what to do with it. Let alone what it really is. Could someone give me a little more information about it and what it does?

I have been searching through the files for something to help me but i found nothing.
