Don't Really Understand...

I've made several threads before, and got some help. I've contacted a few companies and have gotten quotes of 100k-500k for developing my MMOCC. Then I go around the forum and see people developing them for a few thousand. Is it possible to make a high quality MMOCC, with different layouts of private spaces, public spaces, with items, male/female customizable avatars, animations, user actions, content management systems, basically EVERYTHING.... I can list a million things. I am not interested in making something that is CHEAP looking, in fact I have a need for very nice graphics that haven't really been seen in MMOCC's before. But do you think it's possible to do this for a smaller price? If so, where should I look. Also, I might want it in Unity 3D. Where can I learn about unity 3D?

THANKS!

It is all a matter of who you find available and what they happen to charge. Search for some nice Freelance sites, or look for people on PixelJoint.

Its all to do with who you find.

Interesting... From what I see people charge 1-15 dollars per sprite depending on quality. The question is... How many sprites might I expect to have in the game? Anyone know around how many sprites are used in other mmocc's(at start). Also I am wondering how much a client/server would cost after I purchased the graphics.
