MMOCCForum is ready to receive two to three experienced forum members to take up the role as a community guide. These guides will be first to receive the call for help and deal with troublemakers and inappropriate posts. With this position comes many requirements and duties, as listed below.
REQUIREMENTS
- You must be an experienced, respected member of the forum
- Must be able to keep your composure in a high pressure environment (past posts must reflect this)
- You must be unbiased and fair when making decisions
- You must follow the provided moderation guidelines
- You must be an active member with at least 350 posts
- Your past posts must portray yourself as an example towards other members (we will be checking this and reviewing your offense record)
- You must be able to cooperate with the staff appointed over you and work efficiently with the team
- You are expected to continue to be an active member, visiting and posting at least everyday
- You must be somewhat familiar with the vBulletin tools (further training will also be provided)
DUTIES
- Welcoming and providing guidance towards new users
- Keeping the forum peaceful, constructive, friendly and positive
- Moderating posts/threads that violate the forum rules
- Enforcing the forum rules
- You must respond quickly to post reports and take the appropriate actions
- You must continue to serve as an example towards others
- You must not abuse your powers and reveal confidential information discussed in the staff forum, no matter what it is
