Visionire Performance Test

Greetings,

I am working on the performance of the Visionire Client Frame-work 3.0., this client will be the resulting released client in the mid future.

The performance of the emulated environment is high priority therefore, I need to allocate the performance on the common machines.

Due to some issues regarding performance. Common issues shall be semi fixed when Adobe Director 11 is released. Vista, and older operating systems shall experience some variations of speed issues.

There is a high chance of different performance on other machines. If you are running shockwave through a emulated environment, therefore it shall be even a bit more slower due to the fact that the client is also being emulated through imaging-lingo.

This test will help me get an over-view of system performance during the over-all development towards the client, from start to finish of this release.

Client:

Due to the syntax used to obtain the information about your system hardware, playback errors reported for those on Safari, and some Firefox users. The reason is that the syntax is not updated in your version of the shockwave player. Thus, these issues will be cleared once the update is released by Adobe for Adobe Director 11.

If you are experiencing problems with the above build, please direct your attention to the following build:

I need the following information for this performance test:
The system information processed on the screen, and the amount of ram that YOU are running.

Question:
Is the cursor running smoothly?
What is your overall thoughts of the current platform known as Client Frame-work 3.0?

Example:
'89.39' fps | '110.41' fps / tempo speed: '176',
Platform: 'Windows, 32', Depth: '32', DirectX Version: '9.0.1',
Operating System Version: 'Windows XP, 5, 1, 148, 2, Service Pack 2'.
AMD Athlon(tm) Processor 1.39 GHz
512 DDR SDRAM

'117.18' fps | '142.86' fps / tempo speed: '74',
Platform: 'Windows, 32', Depth: '32', DirectX Version: '9.0.2',
Operating System Version: 'Windows, 6, 0, 148, 2'.
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-53 1.70 GHz
1GB DDR

Yes, running smoothly.

Thank you, for your help with the performance test.

I'm running Mac OS X Leopard (on a Intel based MacBook), when I tried to view it in Safari running in Rosetta mode I briefly see the shockwave preloader, then it disappears and I'm left with a blank screen.

EDIT: I tried again and I recieved a shockwave error.

I get a shockwave error as well. I updated my version of shockwave and still got the error. It reads:

This shockwave movie has errors that have caused playback problems. Please contact the author of this content regarding this problem. Shockwave is unable to continue.

OS: Windows Vista: Home Premium Edition - 32bit
DirectX Version: 10
