Viruses and Keyloggers are like illnesses. They are specks on the underhands of society. (wow, a metaphor) These can do many things to your computer, from slowing it down, to your computer crashing. You can be protected from them as easy as it is getting them, so read on, and learn how to keep your computer safe.

Viruses
When someone downloads something, the file could contain viruses, these are not very harmful in small numbers, but when in multitudes, can cause major lag and freezing on your computer. Download any Anti-Virus, and use it often to keep your computer clean. If you have a ton of them, you may want to take it to a shop to have an expert remove them, because once again, viruses in multitudes can have horrific consequences.

Keyloggers
Ever seen a popup that says something like: “Click here for a FREE xBox 360!” Then you occasionally have to download something? Chances are, it might be a keylogger. These things record keystrokes, and whatever you type, Credit Card numbers, email, personal information, ANYTHING, the keylogger sender will know it all. To rid Keyloggers, always keep up a protective firewall, and use Anti-Virus often, deleting ANY unknown files.

Ad-Aware 6.0 is a great programme I've been using for years to keep me safe from keyloggers and viruses!

Norton Antivirus is the big daddy of them all, but sometimes you can find little programs that are better. Anyway, about taking it to a shop to get them removed - dont do it as it can cost into hundreds. Just PM me if you have loads of viruses and ill get rid of em' for ya'!

Microsoft Anti-Spyware is the best. It's free, and you get a free Real-Time protection firewall against Spyware. It also gets rid of Block Checker and MSN Plus Sponser viruses aswell. I love the interface onit aswell.

I use Ad-Aware. I think it's simple. xD
