We have recently launched Port Galaxy, but have not had much success keeping players active. Though we plan to add more features and content soon, we would still like to have someone on our team that has experience promoting and marketing games.

This position is PAID! You will be paid based on the success of your promotions.

I'm curious what your definition is on "success of your promotions". As in, you'll be paying for each player brought in by the marketer? If so, how will you know if they found Port Galaxy because of their efforts or not?

For example, if someone with a marketing background were to contact MMORPG.com on our behalf and arrange to have the game published on their site, tweets sent out by them, etc. Then I would be inclined to pay either a flat fee for doing that specific work or arrangements could be made to earn a percentage of the money from sales, up to a certain point. I can also view where the majority of traffic is coming from to get a better idea of how much to pay the marketer.
