Technician certifications

I was wondering if anyone on the forum has acquired any technician certifications. I am 17 and I have decided it's time to start studying and advance my knowledge my parents agree to pay for each test I pass.

I have started to study CompTIA A+ Core and it is some confusing stuff but I am prepared to put my all in to it. After I play to study CompTIA A+ OS and then Technician + from there I will decide what certifications I would like to get.

What are your thoughts?

I myself have started collecting NVQ's whilst working.

I am actually an intern computer technician. Only an intern because you have to be 18 to get the health benefits and paid time off the days will come. But it's a great experience at age 17 and good money. Once I get a few certifications going to DeVry will be cake. After school getting a full time job will be like nothing with all my certifications and a degree.

Not all teenagers plan for there future and dont get me wrong I F'ed up in highschool with a horrible GPA but that means nothing.

I have an A-Level in advanced networking and I'm currently half way through my CCNA and a quarter the way through my CCIE.

I need to get a job like you have. Any ideas on how to get one. I mean I will be taking more Tech classes, but i did take a class for A+ Cert. But did not take the test. but I do plan to take it again and get my discount on the test.
