Honestly, it's not that much for a beta account and I wouldn't mind paying a small fee to see what they have etc.

Guys, seriousl stop moaning about paying for private better. With MMOCC's you would've ended up paying for a VIP membership in order to play the private better, so this is just the equivalent.

I was backing your mmocc all the way and kept coming back to read this thread.
Since you've partnered with Johnathan Fowler though I shall no longer be supporting you =/

Goodluck

When using the LAN IP, it just shows the [redacted-phone].x.x, when using the WAN IP (the dynamic IP) it doesn't work.

So I don't know where to move on from there, really.

Who was your manager at Sulake and what branch?
#20
Worked remotely for the United States Branch (California, if I remember correctly) as a Community Assistant. I also contributed some blueprint designs for furniture which never showed up in any of the hotels.

I didn't work for the Canadian branch as I prefer the US Hotel over the Canadian Hotel. (Before I applied I didn't know much about the Canadian branch and was more familiar with the US Hotel).

It was back in 2006, so bare with me. I believe my manager was Lin.. C.. something. I know her first name was Lin, and she was the one I forwarded my shift reports too.

Jeeze, you guys are harsh. I didn't expect to be interrogated.
#21
Thats what MMOCCF is famous for, interrogating and checking every single little fact is true.
#22
To be honest it actually sounds great! I can't wait

Ha! Be prepared to get questioned. No one just comes on here and claims they were staff at one of the most successful mmo development companies to date without proof.

Good luck with Aupra!
#25
No worries. I've got nothing to hide/lie about, so I'm prepared to be interrogated!
#26
Sounds interesting, good luck!

It's a shame every things a habbo edit. Even the sofa you showed looks likes a habbo club sofa.

Good luck.

A different concept to the game, maybe even the final sprite. ^ No one's allowed to use that, sorry. If it doesn't become the main game avatar it'll still be apart of our game.

What you all think? Females would get a "pink" color, Creature could be accessorized (jumpsuit, LOL) I've got many idea's for it.

Feedback appreciated.
(I'm still going to do more detail on him, but that's the draft I've done so far.)

Basicly, dont listen to Kiro.

I love what your doing, with some clothes additions and compatibilities those new sprites could be awesome!

Maybe have various types of sprites to choose form. So its like futuristic like futurama different species living on earth!

I honestly like that dont mind having 100's of questions asked, most people just ignore them.
#43
I prefer the creatures to the humans, because..

They are vibrant
They are colorful
They are different
They're more .. grown up in a sense.

Looks promising.

Then make sure the imagery and rules fit that age group. An example of that is cokemusic they're client and site really fit an older teen audience in my opinion

Will do, thanks for the advice.

Do some market research.

Do an online survey, survey 100 people. Ask them what they would like to see in a new 3D Community.

Aupra Presents a MMOCC

Aupra is currently developing a massive multiplayer online chat community. As a former employee of Sulake, we're taking online chat worlds to the next level. We're aiming for a more realistic approach to a MMOCC.

With Aupra you can create a pixel character (and no, ours are not midgets!), build a room and connect with your friends/family by hosting parties and collecting clothing & furniture. You collect pixels by entering contests, trading and buying them.. which inturn allows you to buy furniture, clothing and room space. Each user will start off with some "Pixels" to buy their first few piece(s) of furniture.

We'd like to tell you more, but then that would give away what we're working on, no? (Or.. someone might take our idea's!)

Yes! We are currently hiring.

http://www.mmoccforum.com/mmocc-empl...tml#post192924

Check the above link(s) to view positions available.

We're going to hold a contest on opening day for users to play around and decide what they'd like our game to be called. We want to make EVERY user feel like they are as much a part of the game as I am.

Game overall progress: 11.5%
Current build: 1.0.004

If you're interested in seeing a few small pictures (though we've probably got more pictures for our game then anything) or want to become a beta tester/etc and be able to access the current client, let me know!

Being an ex sulake employee won't gain you respect, unless you/ them were a part of the development team it means nothing to us.

Good luck though
#50
Oh, I just thought I'd throw it in there. Not more-so for respect, just so people know.

I do have a bad tendency to go back to my "Habbo Style" when creating this MMOCC, so bear with me.

Since nothing will be fully final yet (image related) I don't mid showing them, etc.
#51
I think I can see why you are an ex-employee. :/
#52
I wasn't fired/demoted/etc. I left because I couldn't keep up with the demands they wanted of me. The job was great and if I honestly was paid more, I would have stayed.

That'd be perfect. Right now we're just trying to get the server to connect to the game (but since I'm behind a router with a dynamic IP.. it's really causing huge issues)

Any tips for connection on a dynamic IP?

It's good to see that you have everything together, but I doubt Habbo is going to let you off the hook having your graphics looking that similar...
#56
Those images are placeholders, not actual furniture.

Nothing in that image is 100% final. We do however have our own designed furniture, but that image your looking at was the FIRST one I designed to get things started.
