I dsagree with bittybay staff running a fansite... They should stick with there jobs.

Ok well this is my first reply in a matter of weeks and I just wanted to say there are aspects of both negative and positive this forum/site have. For example, It looked alot better when it was mainly a forum but Nich didn't like it so wanted to re-do it and it isn't as attractive.

Exactly my point, Spire will use Nich's forum because it would be free to use and he wouldn't have to give MMOCCF anything special anymore.

And there's no point for anyone to make fansites because non would be as popular as MtFrost as the 'Staff' go on there.

Why can they have that but no other fansite? So biased.

If so that's Spire's doing and Spire's always going to love his staff rather than users it's a fact lol.

This is how BittyBay will fail as an MMOCC, because Staff are put before users which is wrong.

It should be the otherway round.

I would be offended if I was Craig and Dave because their being told their site is now number 2? There shouldn't even be a number 1 fansite, because at the moment there are two official fansites.

And what does this show for future fansites? Will they get the same treatment? Probably not knowing Spire.

Most likely but you wouldn't be able to get the boards working and you wouldn't get it as popular with staff etc because it's not ran by one.

BBV is the number 1 values site, MTF is the number 1 fansite. Once we get people making more fansites that are good enough to be official, we won't be numbering fansites like that. Lol, you guys are too funny, you'll complain about anything.

If I recall correctly, BBU didn't get this sort of publicity when it was the number fan site at the time.

This fansite forum works great for us here. Maybe they will take the heavy load of server down messages..

It's favoritism in my opinion. I know quite alot of fansites which haven't had this sort of publicity. I said this to Elipso the other day as well.

Don't go off on one, I'm entitled to my opinion as is everybody else.

Also get this they have a new item out just for Mtfrost. Did any other fansite have that? Erm No....

I love MtFrost. I don't see why everyone is bashing on BittyBay over the fact that some of their staff had a GREAT IDEA to come up with a Fansite. It offers News, Radio, Forums.. They had a great launch and we had a blast. I really enjoy their site and forums and will be a member of their site for as long as I can.

What's the big deal? Plenty of moderators of "another largely popular MMOCC" have owned fansites, it hasn't made all the rest of the publicly-owned fansites defunct.

apart from the lack of updates etc, it looks proffessional and good, lots of normal bb users couldn't pull something like that off.

Why in the world is this fansite being plugged EVERYWHERE on this forum?! It's bad enough that the website is managed by three staff members (seriously... would you want to go near a forum that would be as censored as this one?). But the fact that they are trying to steal MMOCCF's member base is a whole 'nother thing.
