Can you give us a brief introduction about who you are, your community, and your position there?

Hello everyone! I am Mark, better known as woky. I am the CEO of Soku City LLC. Basically, I do a little of everything. My daily tasks range from hiring new staff, to directing current staff, and even to writing articles for The Tabloid! Soku City LLC is a recently established massive multiplayer online chatting community. Soku City LLC is currently aiming to deliver the most graphically interesting mmocc enviorment on the market. Although we can't beat the mmocc giant, Habbo Hotel, with programming yet - We will do our best to make Alpha as flexible as possible.

Favorite foods? Drinks? Movies? TV shows? Songs?

My favorite food? I really like rice and gravy. My favorite drink is diet coke. I really, really like the 2005 version of War of the Worlds! My favorite Tv show? I would have to say Big Brother. My favorite song at the moment would have to be ''Everytime we touch'' by Cascada.

What would you consider your MMOCC's accomplishments up to this point?

For the short amount of time Soku City has been here, I think many accomplishments have been made. We have an established newsletter, ''The Tabloid'', we have very vibrant graphics, and we have a steady flow of incoming traffic.

Any failures your chatting community has faced?

Yes, but we all learned from our mistakes.

What led you to create Soku City? Where did you get the name from?

I decided to create Soku City becuase I love corporate management. I also love giving people something to look forward to. I like having the privilege of being able to write articles that people from around the world can read and enjoy. It is a really satisfying experience.
As far as I know, the word Soku means absolutely nothing. Soku is an original word, created for an original mmocc.

Soku City is a relatively new developing MMOCC, what are your plans to create a higher user base and grab new members to your community?

Upon alpha release, I plan to sell a special membership. This membership lasts forever! Here is the good part, it will only cost $2 (USD)! I plan to make Soku City widely available, to everyone! Not only that, but I also plan to have many community events. I, along with the management team, have come up with some very innovative ideas. Sadly, I can't go too far into that.

What stage is Soku City at now in the developing process?

Most of the graphics are finished. I just have to make a few more payments. As for the programming, much has been done in that area too. Last I heard from the programmer, the login system was completed.

How will Soku City stand out from all the other MMOCCs out there?

As I said, ''Soku City LLC is currently aiming to deliver the most graphically interesting mmocc enviorment on the market.'' Not to mention all the original ideas and features we plan bring to the table in the future!

There have been a large amount of hopeful chats starting - which many end up failing. How will Soku City try to avoid this stereotype of new MMOCCs failing within the first couple months? Will there be public previews of development graphic and programming wise? Anything we should look forward to?

There are currently previews on the main page of Soku City. Hopefully members will be able to see that we truly do plan to succeed. As for programming, an alpha version of Soku City is planned to release soon.

How would you describe your moderation style?

Soku City moderators, otherwise known as community assistants, are professional yet relaxed. I think it is very important to have staff members who know when to work and when to play.

Tell us something we don't already know about you.

Hmmm... Until we got the necessary funding, I was the only pixel artist. (Dont worry, all my art has been dumped)

If you were to add one feature to any MMOCC, what would it be? Why?

Well, I do have one in mind. I don't want to share it becuase I may use it in the future. ^_^

Any advice to those wanting to start their own virtual chat?

Bring it!
Kidding, my advice would be to do your research, it pays off.

Where do you see the MMOCC market in ten years?

You know what, only time will tell. Who says there will be an internet in ten years?

Where do you see Soku City in ten years?

Once again, only time will tell.

What does the future hold for Mr. woky?

I do plan on getting more schooling, and becoming an entrepreneur. (Even though I already am)
