Alpha City - Employment

I am not offering any pay to anyone, if anyone would like to join this project, it is of freewill. Everyone who helps, will be given credit.

@Age Requirement - It's required to be 14, because Riley and I feel that for us to give the users administration rights when the client is up, they'd need to be 14+

I may be 12, but I practically run the whole process and development of this game. Riley at first wanted it to be an open MMOCC, where the client/server source was released, ect. But I persuaded him to do the project, and have it be an Online Game, whereas Riley and I would own it. I found hope within this project, and there still is much. Development has been going great. Riley's in his department dealing with server functions, SQL Tables, ect. And I'm in my own department recruiting, creating graphics, and other stuff. Alpha City has much promise, when we release, we will already have Private Rooms for users to create. Or I should say "Aparments/Houses"

The whole concept of the game is to have fun, and hang out. Alpha City has been doing great behind the curtains, and we will have a site up soon. Riley is almost done with his job, this is why he asked me to create pre-registration graphics so he can set-up the client for allowing users to register. Of course, all other features will be locked out. It is hard to keep in touch with Riley at the very moment, because he is in Australian time, and I'm on the other side of the world in the USA.

Would the Community Manager in question, would he/she be required to give personal information/self details for contact purposes? Are all your facts straight within this? As of the NDA, are you required to sign it for every position within the community of Alpha City, or just the Community Manager position, or any other important ones?

Make it more interesting kiddo, tell the community more about what is required, what are you looking for, eg. I wish you best of luck & hope you find the correct people for the job, as for me, I already know I have it

Thank you all, and Loz, your post is unescesary, pure stupidity also.

The age limit may be lowered, but for now, it remains 14. I think it is fair, just have a Parent/Guardian sign the NDA with you, and your pretty much all set. Of course it does take full commitment to the project to do this.

I'll keep you all updated, looking for some good VPS's for BETA release.

I don't get it. You're trying to hire people older than you, way older. Also asking them for there phone number when basically, again, they're older than you?

Age shouldn't matter within this thread. I am only saying what is required. I am hiring people at an age higher than me because I feel it's best for that to be done. If it wasn't for the fact that I haven't been able to contact Riley directly, I would of had him make this thread. As I said, I am currently working with most of the development within graphics, and the community. I'm doing my job, as of it isn't Riley's job to post this, it is mine. When Riley get's the chance, he will put his fair share of words within the thread. I deal with most of the stuff except for the client and server coding, as I am still learning much and I have to admit, I have a long road ahead of me.

Like any other MMOCC Asst. Director/Director, they want to hire mature, and appropriately aged people, and thats what I am doing here. Just because I am younger, doesn't mean I don't know how to handle things. Once I get a Community Manager, he/she can help me out with most of this, and he/she will be dealing with these threads. I am just simply posting an update of whats going on, and pointing out the fact that Alpha City DOES need help within it's graphics, and such.
