My uncles sister, who had a baby with a priest that played with kids made a retro and he got sued too. If you ain't going to give more "information" on your story then leave it out. One thread on this forum saying it's bad isn't even a slap on the wrist to the criminals in question.
If Habbo sued every person running a retro they'd be wasting not only money, but time. I personally think they should make an example out of one user but they've obviously either thought against that idea, or not come up with it which is highly unlikely.
Point of the matter is, it's a fight that cannot be won. The internet's a large place, retros are dotted around everywhere run/hosted in many countries.
And your little threat willing to sue because of your graphics would only put the shakes on the little retros, not the bigger ones. You'd probably be laughed at babe.

They aren't exactly sueing for running a retro, they are sueing for copyright infringement, the coding and images. In compliance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, CIII section 236 of the ownership and design right
"Where copyright subsists in a work which consists of or includes a design in which design right subsists, it is not an infringement of design right in the design to do anything which is an infringement of the copyright in that work"
It's just like somebody making a retro of BittyBay, alot of people on here would rage mad and James would most likely sue the offending person under that act, same with Sulake except they have alot more offenders to actually deal with.

I've always wanted to make a retro. I tried for an hour, got a 'loader' on Freewebs. Thought; why not just play the real hotels. Then I thought; wait... I don't even play the real hotels so this is really pointless.
That was the end of it.
I used to try and shut 'em down in the day. They were using my alterations so I got my whole 'Sulake has been informed" and that "I will be pressing charges as well." ... "You'll have one week's grace period until I will take action".
