Apparently if you xbox develops RROD, Microshaft will repair it if it is with 3 years of the original purchase date.

I know someone that bought theirs on release and recently sent theirs away to be repaired. It should be fine.

Well I'm sure they extended warranty on some Xbox's to 2 years? I might be wrong but I know they extended it somewhat. Good luck in getting it back from repairs, since thats the real problem lol!

Yeah, i do belive they extended it so if you got the RROD it didnt matter but i think that extra warrenty ends within the next few months i think..

This is why PS3 wins Great time to die eh, few days before GTA IV lol. I'd be extreemly peed off lol. Good luck getting it repaired
