Interview with Spire - BittyBay Assistant Director

Can you give us a brief introduction about who you are, your community, and your position there?

Hello MMOCCForum, my name is Spire. I am first and foremost a graphics designer for the relatively new chatting phenomenon known as BittyBay (www.bittybay.com). My other duties at BittyBay involve customer service, website development and client moderation.

Favorite foods? Drinks? Movies? TV shows? Songs?

I love Italian, Asian, and Croatian food. My favorite drink is definitely water – nothing like a cold glass of water after a strenuous workout; not to mention that it’s good for you! I prefer movies that fall under the categories of comedy and action; however, I do not have a favorite at the moment. On the soap box, I like to watch “The Simpson’s”, “Heroes”, and “Big Brother”. When it comes to music I enjoy almost anything, as long as it’s not heavy metal or similar – those genres do my head in!

What would you consider your MMOCC's accomplishments are up to this point?

An accomplishment is a measure of success – success is defined differently by each individual. What one considers success may not necessarily be classed as success by another. By having said that, I believe that BittyBay has achieved copious quantities of triumph. The first and probably most significant is that we have an active, working client. BittyBay is updated constantly and there is always something new to see or fun to do. I believe that we do an outstanding job of getting the community involved and keeping our users entertained.

Any failures your chatting community has faced?

I don’t believe in failures. If a situation doesn’t kill you it only makes you stronger. In response to that, I don’t think that BittyBay has experienced anything that could be associated with the word “failure”. We may have had our lows, but it’s only expected - it is all part of this journey we are on.

How did you first see BittyBay and how did you become a staff member?

I first discovered BittyBay on this very forum. I immediately requested an account and logged on to the early BittyBay client. After a few minutes of exploring and examining, I realized just how much potential this idea had. I decided to contact Mystiko; I wanted to help him bring his idea to life. Ever since that day, the partnership between Mystiko, Trent and myself has only grown stronger. Together we create the blossoming world of BittyBay.

How would you describe the community aspect of BittyBay?

Fun and vibrant. We consider the community aspect of BittyBay as the key to our success; without the users that frequent our shores, BittyBay would not be where it is today. We strive to keep the client as up-to-date as possible in order to sustain our users' interest. We also hold regular competitions and events to get the community involved and keep users active. Our fans are very important to us; I’m sure that I speak on behalf of all the Staff at BittyBay when I say that we are truly grateful and blessed to have such a wonderful support network behind us.

If you could describe BittyBay in one word, what would it be?

Fresh.

Where do you see BittyBay in ten years?

I can’t predict the future, but I honestly believe that BittyBay has the potential to make it amongst the shining stars of the MMOCC market. I believe that we have what it takes to become a dominant leader in the world of virtual chat communities.

What does the future hold for Mr. Spire?

I’m going to keep doing what I’m doing. My involvement with art has been prominent in my life from a very young age; it is what I love to do. My skills in communication and business will lead me wherever I need to go to best express my talent and drive to succeed. Remember, nothing is impossible; just believe in yourself, know who you are, set goals in life and you will voyage to worlds of victory far beyond your expectations.
