Interview with Kier - Fusion City Security

Can you give us a brief introduction about who you are, your community, and your position there?

I'm (handsome) Kier, and I'm basically a Security officer.

Favorite foods? Drinks? Movies? TV shows? Songs?

Oh favourite food by far is Pizza. I have it like every day, no joke. Really unhealthy I know

Favourite drink is Cherry Coke

I don't really have a favourite movie, but Adam Sandler is one of my favourite actors. The OC just owns everything on TV. Can't WAIT for season 4, although I heard alot of the old stars won't be in it.

Seth Cohen better be! My favourite song at the moment is Boxcar Racer - Letters to god.

What would be your accomplishments up to this point?

UP to this point

I guess my accomplishments were going from Guide to Security to Events Coordinator, then assuming the extra responsibilities of Newsletter Coordinator. And of course, making so many new friends, that's always an accomplishment in itself.

Any failures you'd like to mention to us?

I guess the only failure I can think of is not having enough time to dedicate to FC. If I got kicked out of College or what not, I'd have alot more time and would try and dedicate it to FC.

How did you find out about Fusion City?

The same way alot of people did, someone told me about it from Habbo Hotel. I think it was Rareoid or Mystiko, not too sure.

How would you describe the community aspect of Fusion City?

Breath-taking. It's amazing that so many people will come to the forums just to talk about their lives and give feedback on Fusion-City. I love it, being able to socialise with so many people.

Why did you apply/accept a position at Fusion City? How long were you there for before you became a moderator? What do you think got you that position?

Ha ha. It was actually REALLY cool how I got accepted as a Guide for FC. I was always active, always talking/helping etc... I had a few friends who were Staff, and was saying how cool it would be to get a Guide position. One day I was magically a Guide, without being asked. Lol. At first I thought it was a mistake and reported it, and Management were like "No, you're a Guide. sign here, here and here." 1-2 years later I turned 16 and got promoted to Security. I think hard-work and dedication got me my position at FC.

Are there any other MMOCCs/chat rooms/forums you work at? Which ones?

Nope, none. FC all the way

How would you describe your moderation style?

I guess I'm pretty relaxed. We have such a nice community that I can't remember my last ban or warning I had to issue. But when it comes down to it I can be fairly strict

What non-chat websites do you regularly visit?

MySpace unfortunatly It grabs everyone.

Tell us something we don't already know about you.

Erm I'm 5'4" and recently applied for a job as an elf to work in Santa's Grotto.

If you were to add one feature to any MMOCC, what would it be? Why?

My favourite feature to any MMOCC is already being coded, which I can't reveal

Any advice to those wanting to start their own virtual chat?

Erm, my PERSONAL advice, give up

It's way too hard, and way too much work. I'm not naming any companies, but soon you shall see them shut down because of legal reasons.

Where do you see the MMOCC market in ten years?

Dominating the internet.

Where do you see Fusion City in ten years?

Dominating the internet. ;P

What does the future hold for Mr. Kier?

I think I'll stick to Security for a while, but if/when college work slows down hopefully I'll be able to do more duties at FC
