Interview with Mixologist - Blix City owner

Can you give us a brief introduction about who you are, the community you work for, and the position you have there?
My name is Mixologist, I was born in the Midwest but was moved to South Florida for the Blix City position. I work for BlixCity.com, a growing MMOCC game. I am currently the City Manager and Site Manager/Producer for BlixCity.

Favorite food? Drinks? Songs? TV shows? Movies?
Fav. food = Shepard's Pie
Fav. drinks = Pepsi Cola
Fav. genre of music = techno/electrionia
Fav. TV Shows = I don't watch TV that much, but I like Local 7 News.
Fav. movies = Rat Race

What would you consider your accomplishments up to this point in time?
Regarding BlixCity = getting BETA released and having a great Assistant City Mayor (Shirty)
Regarding myself = working for a great community like BlixCity & graduating college.

Any failures you'd like to mention?
I don't have any relating to BlixCity at the moment (and I hope to keep it that way!!!)

How did you get involved in Blix City?
I applied for a career after DeathStar told me about BlixCity and how he needed someone to fill in for him, and I was accepted.

How would you describe the Blix City community?
We are a small yet elite community of great people. We are looking to change the normal view of a MMOCC from "unproductive" and "unresponsive" to "fun" and "productive".

Are there any other projects you're involved in? If so, which? Do you plan on getting involved in any others?
I currently work as a "mixologist" for a local FM radio station. Sure, I am always looking to get involved in new, fun projects. I also work as a content manager for a few DeathStar Entertainment clients.

Describe your typical workday schedule.
Hrm. I get up at 9 AM, drive to the DeathStar Entertainment office (yes, we have an office in downtown Miami, Fla.) and check up on things relating to BlixCity. If there is something that needs to be signed or sent out, I usually do this in the morning. After a few hours of doing work, I eat lunch at 1:30 PM. Then, I leave the office to go to my other job, working at a radio station.

Tell us something we don't already know about you.
I like to swim in my spare time!!

If you were to add one feature to any MMOCC, what would it be? Why?
I don't involve myself in other MMOCCs at the moment, but I do plan on getting a little more involved in the future - in other words, I'll get back to you on that one!!!

Any advice to those wanting to start their own virtual chat?
Work hard, put a lot of work into it, do your research, and come out on top!

Where do you see the MMOCC market in ten years?
I see a few games actually making it to the final stage, and I see that the target audience (teens) will very much enjoy these types of games.

Where do you see Blix City in ten years?
-thinks- I see BlixCity coming out very well with a great team of staff and members.

What does the future hold for Steve?
I'd love to stay with BlixCity for as long as I can, providing a safe and enjoyable alternative to online entertainment. I see myself teaching others how to react to unusual situations, training staff, and helping out the members of the BlixCity community.
