Can you give us a brief introduction about who you are, your community, and your position there?
My name is Kaboom (Chandler). I am currently a Security Member with a community called, Fusion-City.
Favorite foods? Drinks? Movies? TV shows? Songs?
Favorite Food: Frozen Grapes
Favorite Drink: Pink Lemonade
Favorite Movie: Rent
Favorite TV Show: Discovery Channel
Favorite Song: Rhianna – SOS, Hawthrone Heights soundtracks, Rent soundtracks, Panic at the disco. And lots more
What would be your accomplishments up to this point?
Probably getting to know all the awesome Fusion-City Security Members and other staff members. They are a great group of people.
Any failures you'd like to mention to us?
Now, why would I want to mention failures?
How did you find out about Fusion City?
I found out about Fusion City by word of mouth. A contact on my msn had it in their display name, I checked it out.
How would you describe the community aspect of Fusion City?
It’s a warm and cozy community. We treat people with respect, and like normal human beings.
Why did you apply/accept a position at Fusion City? How long were you there for before you became a moderator? What do you think got you that position?
I applied for a position as a guide firstly. My application got put on file. Once I became a bit more active on Fusion City, I got accepted as a guide... A month or two later, I got promoted to Security. I think a cool and level hand with dealing with situations, and a great personality got me to where I am today.
Are there any other MMOCCs/chat rooms/forums you work at? Which ones?
Nope.
How would you describe your moderation style?
Smooth, and joking but serious at certain times.
What non-chat websites do you regularly visit?
I often visit Yahoo to check out the news articles and MSNBC.
Tell us something we don't already know about you.
I am a twin, and I love the color pink.
If you were to add one feature to any MMOCC, what would it be? Why?
I think it would have to be what a member posted on Fusion City’s forums. They said a click and drag method. If you could click and drag the speech bubbles, to a certain place – it would eliminate the problem of them scrolling up so fast, if you wanted to see what a user was trying to say to you.
Any advice to those wanting to start their own virtual chat?
Dedication is the key.
Where do you see the MMOCC market in ten years?
I expect it to be blowing up, and doing awesome.
Where do you see Fusion City in ten years?
I see it being a profitable business. With awesome moderators (hehe), staff, and awesome members!
What does the future hold for Mr. Chandler?
My future.. Well I wish I knew what it holds… I think finishing up Marketing Classes will get me some hits on the job area in the future.
